What brought you to Statistics.com?
I was deciding between Statistics.com program and other MOOC’s but the small classes and focus on teacher-student communication at Statistics.com was one of the reasons I chose Statistics.com over others.
Have the skills you learned helped you at work?
The courses have helped me a lot, pushing me to the limit and making me learn much more than I expected I could. The knowledge I gained I could immediately leverage in my job. The first thing I did was build a churn predictive model which turned operational and was eventually built into one of the core pillars of CRM strategy.
What’s next for you?
After one year into the program, I got an offer from Amazon’s EU headquarters in Luxembourg to build and lead the Data Science team in Amazon Devices EU team. Statistics.com’s Certififate program has helped me become a strong professional in the field of analytics, gain confidence with its learning-by-doing analytic projects, which eventually led to building my own successful analytic projects portfolio, which eventually led to landing a job in my dream company – Amazon.
