July 3 – 31: Introductory Statistics

Developed by Peter Bruce, author of Introductory Statistics and Analytics: A Resampling Perspective (the course text), this course offers a unique perspective. It uses easily understood resampling methods (the computer equivalent of picking cards randomly out of a hat) to short-circuit the confusion and difficulties of formula methods. Plus it connects up statistics to data science, something most statistics courses do poorly.
