Programs in Advanced Statistical Studies
Statistics.com offers Programs in Advanced Statistical Studies in a number of fields: biostatistics, environmental statistics, engineering, data mining and social science. All courses are presented online, with guided readings, assignments, homework feedback, a practical work project, plus a private discussion board which permits communication with the instructor. While courses are in session on scheduled dates, participation in the course during this period occurs at times that are convenient to you. Work in these programs is typically at the masters level.
Candidates must successfully fulfill the requirements of each course in their selected Program in order to earn a certificate. This includes exercises, readings, assignments, participation on the discussion boards and any final project or exam associated with the course. All your work in the course will be marked and graded; a final transcript showing all courses taken and grades earned will be provided at the completion of the program.
To apply for a Program in Advanced Statistical Study, simply fill out this application, and return it to us. You may choose to pay the $75 application fee online here, or enclose a check (USD drawn on a US bank) with your completed application form.
Next, register for the PASS Program of your choice here. The registration fee covers administrative costs for program management, counseling on the sequence of courses, interim transcripts and annual reviews. Once you are accepted into the PASS program, you will then register for each of the specific courses which comprise your program. Enrollment links are found on each program description page:

Rules and policies:- You must submit the application for the PASS Program and be accepted before taking the actual courses.*
- The program fee is in addition to the actual course tuition. Once you are accepted into the PASS Program, you are considered a student at statistics.com and are eligible to register for all courses at the academic tuition rate.
- All of the Programs in Advanced Statistical Studies require that you have taken the equivalent of Introduction to Statistics 1, 2, and 3.
- You are expected to complete all the courses in your PASS program within 5 years of your acceptance into the program. Any extensions must be approved in writing by statistics.com prior to that 5-year deadline.
*Exception: One statistics.com course may be taken prior to signing up for the Program; credit will be applied to the Program, provided that a course completion certificate is issued.
